How do I protect something?
Open PasteShield and paste text, choose a screenshot or photo, or choose a PDF. You can also share supported content to PasteShield from another app. Review the result before copying, sharing, or saving it.
Does PasteShield upload my content?
No. Text, image, and PDF processing happens on your device. PasteShield has no content-processing server and does not keep a content history.
How do I restore PasteShield Forever?
Open Settings in PasteShield and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account that made the original purchase. Apple handles the purchase and restoration process.
Does one purchase work on my other devices?
Your non-consumable purchase can be restored on compatible devices using the same Apple Account, subject to Apple’s App Store policies.
Why did PasteShield miss something?
Automatic detection is assistive and can miss private information or select information that is not private. Always review the protected result. Use Review to change detected items or manually cover anything that was missed.
Does PasteShield modify my original PDF?
No. PasteShield creates a separate flattened, image-only protected copy. Your original file is left unchanged.
How do the three free protections work?
A free use is counted only after a successful protected result is completed. Opening, reviewing, cancelling, or failed processing does not consume a use.
